To run an efficient brainstorming, 1) Be clear about the problem and having the root cause analysis for this problem. 2) Use tools such as Mind mapping, Mural and if you team is within the same location, use sticky notes, Confluence or black board to keep the key points and the brief details. 3) Organizing activities among teams where puzzles related to the topic of discussion is given and resolution is discussed in detail with the team so that they remember this through a play. 4) Technical Sessions with experts. 5) KT and Reverse KT sessions on each brainstorming epics.

When technical issues hit a brainstorming session, it’s easy to lose focus, but I’ve found these moments can actually bring out some of the best ideas. Here’s how I tackle it: First, switching to analog methods can work wonders. If a digital whiteboard crashes or the internet drops, simply grab a pen and paper or use sticky notes. It's surprising how this old-school approach can cut through the noise. When the tech goes, so do the distractions, and people tend to think more clearly. Sometimes, these low-tech methods drive us to make ideas sharper and more concise. Also, do not try to fix the tech DURING THE session, that will be a waste of time and the group will be disoriented, keep the flow going!
