You have to start with the basics: C# However, there are some programming tools named no-code or low-code that can make the developer's or programmer's job much easier. In my experience, a very attractive development toolkit is VIROO, which runs over Unity and adds a lot of features to the development tasks that can save a lot of time when developing VR content.

There is no doubt that modeling and animation skills are key to be able to handle any VR development. It is essential to be skilled in this subject area, but don't drive yourself crazy trying to create 3D models from scratch. There are plenty of platforms where freelance creators offer developers a lot of resources. The interesting thing about these platforms is that these assets are surprisingly low priced, mainly because the business model of these platforms is based on volume. By using these assets, and with some slight adaptations, it is possible to obtain outstanding high quality results.
