It's vital to highlight our unique backgrounds, passions, and areas of expertise. Each of us has a compelling story shaped by our journey, the challenges we've faced, and the successes we've reached. I believe that sharing these personal narratives can resonate deeply with potential clients and help us forge stronger connections. In addition to storytelling, it’s important to articulate the value we add through our products and services. By showcasing the authentic benefits and unique features that we offer, we can differentiate ourselves from the competition. Most importantly, let's not forget the power of authenticity. Being ourselves and allowing our unique personalities to shine through in every interaction can truly make a difference.

The first quality of sales is the ability to listen with the genuine intention to understand a client. Every exchange with a client should be turned into an opportunity to collect clients needs or pain points. For this, the sales person should aim at uploading info from client, not downloading his "science" on the company or product, which often fall short of the client's interest. Then, and only then, look for a solution. Successful sales never "sale", they "only" address a need with a solution. Do that repeatedly, and you also win client's trust.

Building a personal brand takes time and consistency which I have advised on often. Your personal brand is everything someone sees of you (in person and online) that allows them to make an impression of you. On social; 1. Have a professional relevant picture of yourself - meaning don't be on the beach unless you sell beach products/ holidays ! if you are a magician have a picture showing this (relevance) if selling to business people have a picture showing you as appropriate to your audience. 2. try to. use the same or similar photo across socials so its clear its you an a consistent brand 3. Use the tools and space available, have a background image where the platform allows, fill in the outline and details and keep it up to date

Wearing brightly coloured clothes! I am aware it sounds trivial and somewhat shallow to even suggest your attire affects your sales...but it can. A seasoned sales person will point out that luck is something you want to eliminate in a sales process but there is some merit to the "lucky outfit". Wearing brighter clothes that set you out from others immediately creates attention and a longer lasting impression on memory. There has to be a balance between bright colours and buffoonery, but if everyone else is in white shirt and black trousers, you would be surprised how subtle changes like a brown trousers/chinos instead of black can help you stand out. If you are confident in looking different = personal brand unlocked!
