These platforms allow you to design, prototype, and deploy applications with minimal coding, making the development process more accessible and faster. They often include features for database management, user authentication, and integrations, enabling rapid development without deep coding expertise. Additionally, use platforms like Zapier for easy automation and integration between different tools without writing custom code.

One can use Low Code or No Code or Popular Code Editors for development but they should be aware of what is going on under the hood. It is recommended to use extensions or plugins to increase the productivity at the same time they should be aware of the generated code blocks to see if it fits their needs, standards and find ways to optimize it if required. Not just keeping the autogenerated code without knowing what it does.

Code editors like Visual Studio Code, Atom, or Sublime Text are essential for writing and editing source code in traditional full stack development. But today's nocode and lowcode platforms (such as Bubble, WeWeb, Flutterflow, Adalo, and Glide) typically have built-in, custom editors. Even so, understanding the basics of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript can be beneficial if you want to extent the power of nocode and lowcode tools. Some nocode/lowcode tools allow for direct manipulation of these languages within the editor interface. So while traditional code editors may not be central in a no-code environment, a basic understanding of coding can enhance the use of no-code tools, allowing for easy setup but also advanced customization.

Nowadays, various code editors have AI features. For example, GitHub Copilot can suggest code by commenting on a line and even generating the code for you. However, this might make programmers rely too much on these tools and think less independently. For beginners, avoid advanced plugins or extensions that suggest or help with coding. It's essential to think for yourself. I find VS Code user-friendly, and it's my preferred choice for coding.

"Efficiency" can mean different things to different people but primarily means "user responsiveness." To be as efficient as possible, ensure your app responds with low latency. Some suggestions: 1. Look for traffic patterns (latency perf throughout the day) & use developer tools like profilers to find app bottlenecks 2. Are you building your container inefficiently? a) Scan your `.dockerignore` file to ensure it isn't full of files that have nothing to do with app operation. b) Building layers in the wrong order, adding dependencies more than once, etc? Larger/inefficient containers means your app takes longer to startup and/or respond to users 3. Validate response infrastructure: proxies, load-balancers, VPCs, gateway, edge-cache, etc.

In traditional full-stack development, version control systems like Git are crucial for tracking changes, collaborating, and maintaining the integrity of code. With the advent of nocode platforms like Bubble, version control is just as crucial when working in complex projects or collaborating as part of a large team. However, such tools are often rudimentary compared to Git. It's definitely an area in which nocode tools need to grow in order to be competitive with traditional development.

Git: The most popular version control system, widely used and supported, command-line or GUI interfaces (GitHub Desktop). Mercurial: Distributed version control system, simpler syntax than Git, less widely used in web development. Subversion: Centralized version control system, more mature but less flexible than Git.

However, the selection of such tools should follow the definition of your development processes. Properly established workflows ensure that tools like Commitizen not only fit the technical landscape but also amplify the effectiveness of these processes.

Choosing a framework is always a wise choice when comparing it to the alternative of redesigning the system architecture yourself. Also a framework comes with general features and guidelines that helps avoiding common mistakes and security flaws. But one must never rely solely on the framework as those tend to make us dumb by relying for internal logic on them. Which is why understanding framework at its core always plays an important role.

Frontend: React, Angular, Vue.js (choose based on project scope and team familiarity). Backend: Django (Python), Rails (Ruby), Spring (Java), Express.js (Node.js) (consider project language preference and performance needs). Fullstack: Meteor.js, Phoenix (Elixir), Next.js (React for SSR) (evaluate suitability for your specific project requirements).

Some of them are: not skipping writing test cases and choosing the correct test runner . For example, for JS Jasmine and karma makes things easier. Apart from it have a proper storage management apart from session storage , local storage and cookies is essential. Using redux inspite of the latter mentioned takes web development to next level.

Even though there's no universal way to debug your code, but if you're just starting out you can use tools like Chrome DevTools to debug almost all issues, how? 1. Reproduce- First step is the easiest of them all, just see if you're able to understand and reproduce the issue which you want to fix 2. Inspect- Next you want to identify which function is causing the issue, track where and when that function is being called and set breakpoints before the function call 3. Debug- Run the page using debugger with pause enabled at breakpoints. Inspect variables and function call stack, add logs and profiling. 4. Fix- Based on the debug data you can identify which trigger, event or action is causing the issue, apply a fix and test the web app again.

Integrate version control with a CI system like GitLab CI, Travis CI or Jenkins. This ensures that changes are automatically validated through automated builds and tests, reducing the likelihood of introducing errors into the main codebase. Decide whether you want to use the CI out of your Source-Control-System or rather use a "pull"-System from your cloud-environment (e.g. DigitalOcean).

Apart from the given tools, One should also consider a few more tools. Like package managers (npm/yarn), database selection (MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL), API Development (Swagger/Postman), Build Tools (Webpacks), Collaboration and Communication (Slack, JIRA, Trello), Code Quality (Eslint/Prettier), Code Reviews, Code Documentation (Notion/Confluence)

Ideally once someone commits and pushes to the central repository, it should kick off a build in the CI Server. The CI Server: Lints and builds the code, and runs all tests, runs a code quality scanner, deploys to a lower environment, with sign off, deploys to higher environments and eventually production. Also: Story and version control integration. Link commits to stories, and automatically create stories on test failure.
