In my experience if you want to create a winning game you need to follow what the kids are doing today, where the money is going for investors and what are the devs working on. For the kids: they are on Roblox, Fortnite mostly on mobile and console. For the money: Right now VC are not putting money in a vast majority of the world except for the Middle East with Savvy Group in Saudi Arabia. For the devs: Focus is on the engines and Unreal Engine is taking an edge.
