Ein bekannter Leitsatz lautet hierbei: "Egal was du denkst, denk das Gegenteil." Diesen hilft einem gewiss nicht in allen Bereichen des Lebens weiter, aber er vermag hilfreich zu sein, wenn es darum geht, auf innovative Ideen zu kommen und sich somit von der Masse abzuheben. In Kombination mit Umsetzungsst?rke und dem Antrieb zu echter Ver?nderung verleiht man dem eigenen Drive Sichtbarkeit und geht auf diese Weise voran. Wenn Neugierde und Mut den Weg leiten und in einem Change mehr Chance gesehen wird, ist man meiner Meinung nach auf dem bestm?glichen Weg.

Investing in visibility inside your organization is a continuous job, especially earlier in your career. I would focus on leaders 2 levels up from where you are, who do not know you (well) but who would or could play a role in a future promotion for you / someone in your type of roles. Asking to meet with them for a quick coffee to help you shape your long term career plans is seldom denied, though it may not have the highest priority on their calendars. In my experience leaders love to help in career development, especially if there is no direct big ask from you. In doing so they get to know you, will notice when you are talked about and are more likely to support you or speak up for you when a promotion opportunity comes around.

To get a promotion, you need to show that you have made a positive impact on your organization and your industry. This means highlighting your achievements, results, and contributions, and how they have added value and solved problems.
