Les disques durs (3.5) sont rendus juste par une source de stockage: Les usagers normaux (population de tous les jours) s'en servent pour du stockage photo ou des séquences vidéos au vu de la grosseur de stockage que les disques durs peuvent fournir (22 Tb). De nos jours les jeux sont rendus pratiquement impraticables s’ils sont installés sur un disque dur 3.5. Pour ceux qui ont des NAS ou ceux qui travaillent avec des serveurs s'en servent plus régulièrement et de ce que je conseille est le Raid5 pour aucune perte de donnée. Les SSD par contre beaucoup plus rapide, mais de moindre stockage. Pour ceux qui ont un NAS, ils peuvent s'en servir en tant que Cache. Mais encore là ma suggestion pour le privé aller vers le M.2 qui est le Nvme SSD.

Hard drive depends on the interface available on the system, hardware compatibility, price and speed required. For laptops I would go for SSD which are faster and available in small sizes. NVMe can also be considered if I have slot available. But if you need a lot of space then you need to add a SATA HDD. For desktops again SSD will give good speed. But If I need a lot of capacity then I would select SATA HDD. There is one more option, SAS (Serially Attached SCSI). These are mostly used on servers but can be used on a desktop with interface card. These drives have high speeds and SAS-4 can go up to 24 Gbps.

Depends on use case of said storage. If an OS Boot drive, then an SSD is a wise choice. If for massive storage needs, then a spinning rust drive fits the bill for it. So, like in my hackintosh, my boot drive is an Nvme ssd. Then for my data they are spinning rust drives.

You must account for what is supported by your device, of course, in terms of available slots and max storage capacities. Older notebooks won't have a slot for NVMe's and even SSD transfer speeds won't be as good as newer machines. Also keep in mind that for NVMe capable machines there may be generation limitations on what is supported, i.e. Gen3 vs Gen4. No sense buying a Gen4 if your system only supports Gen3. Lastly, keep heat in mind as NVMe's generate more heat than SSDs and may require additional cooling. All that being said, always go NVMe if you can.

A día de hoy si no es para servidores en los que se tenga un alto porcentaje a errores pero es barato y fácil de cambiar un HDD RED por ejemplo de WD preparados para raids ok... en uso personal cualquier chasis va admitir al menos dos unidades SSD incluso usando un chasis para una micro-atx. y si la placa te admite NMV no hay que decir mucho más.
