I believe that “transparency” and “open communication” are the two most critical aspects of effective team management. Some of the tools I would recommend: - MS Teams: Excellent for regular catchups, Brainstorming sessions, Share updates, Polls etc. - MS Planner: Stay on track with special projects or assignments which are not covered by normal workload management. - Wrike: Highly efficient environment to manage day to day tasks, allocate projects, manage workload and collaborate on projects.

Project Management has recently evolved quite a bit due to change in both the client mind-set, fast paced environment and new technologies revolutionizing our industry and infrastructure. My take would be to focus on agile and hybrid methodologies, thinking out of the box and adapting to latest tools and techniques. Effective communication is the key along with people management skills - ‘getting the work done approach’ with the highest ethical standards.

It is easy to get a tool that will get you how much buttons did your employee click and how much did the idle and those tools wouldn’t get you anything other than a resignation letter. I believe the best tool out there is Jira, you can create the task and put an estimate and you can follow up. Never micromanage ??
