Presentations fail for one of two reasons: 1. When you don’t deliver a message that is relevant for your audience, and 2. When it is delivered as a monologue - no interactivty At the end of such a presentation, don’t shy away from seeking feedback. Generic feedback like “It was good” or “It was too long” won’t help you refine your approach. Instead, ask targeted questions such as: * What part of the presentation did you find less useful? * Was there anything you wished I had spent more time on? The responses will help you understand what to adjust—whether it’s simplifying your message, incorporating more practical examples, or creating space for audience interaction.

If you were able to record it, preferably with video but even just with audio, then face the music! I would imagine every single presenter or public speaker (at least, every one I have ever met falls into this), has had an absolutely awful presentation. Whether it's sales, teaching, networking or anything else, we've all done them and we've probably al seen them too. If you have delivered a presentation that's flopped, you're about to learn something that you could not have possibly learned any other way. As long as you're honest with yourself in your reflection, that is.
