You can get a better idea about it by checking their Glassdoor (employees) or Mouthshut (customer) reviews. Check their employees LinkedIn profiles and see if they have posted anything on their timeline. Employees post about their organisation's programs, product launches or initiatives only if they feel valued.

In my experience as a business development if you enter to an interview you must have a good overview of that business because its your duty to make that more profitable so you should have a suitable datas.

Don't show up to your interview without questions. Questions will always be very important for you to fully understand what the company is all about. I try to break down my questions into role, company, and boss. For instance, regarding the role, I might ask about the day-to-day responsibilities and the team dynamics. For the company, I'd inquire about its mission, values, and future growth plans. And concerning the boss, I might ask about their leadership style and expectations. You want them to feel your excitement when you ask questions.

Coming from a diverse background of Digital marketing, FMCG, real estate & now telecom tech, I can't emphasise enough about dressing up well. Trust me, those extra 15 minutes of putting a thought behind what you wear can take you a long way ahead. Especially if you are in sales (regardless of being in tech, consumer goods, commodities or luxury) your appearance does make the difference. Contrary to the now popular opinion of dressing comfortably, I feel people have started taking it too lightly. No need of expensive labels. Just check the colour coordination, watch-belt-shoes combination, clean, well fitting clothes & a decent perfume would make the cut. Classics never go out of style!

This is why I suggest not going over the top so that your clothes don't impact your mobility. Arrive on time, or preferably a few minutes early, and greet the interviewer with a firm handshake and a smile. Maintain good eye contact and posture throughout the interview, be communicative (speaking, listening and formally smiling).

Each is trying to tell you something, each is trying to keep you safe - even though they maybe trying to make us play small. Tend to the voice, the part of you - because it is part of you and is therefore worthy of respect and deserves to be heard and understood with compassion and empathy. This process of listening and validating will help these voices to settle and enable and empower you to be at your very best. Go be amazing.

Instead of the superfluous internet answers on tell me about yourself & strengths vs. weakness, try to give an actual insight. Think a little, try to gauge the interviewer's interest & then answer. Ask the panellist about what they like. Football teams, sports, travel destinations, food, etc. etc. Trust me, they like it when someone asks about their likings. If they see you blending well in the conversation, the job is yours. Be comfortable. You are a candidate, not a pauper. If you can't represent yourself, how would you represent the company? Let them know that.

Be prepared to answer questions you probably were not prepared to answer. I was recently in an interview with someone, and they asked me, 'Why should we not hire you?' This question was very unexpected. If you are ever put in a position like this, take a moment to gather your thoughts and pause. Show that you put time into thinking about your response.
