Which tools offer the most effective performance feedback and coaching features?

In der heutigen agilen, schnelllebigen Arbeitswelt ist unmittelbares Feedback entscheidend für die Entwicklung und Motivation von Mitarbeitenden. Dabei geh?rt das pers?nliche "Eins-zu-Eins-Gespr?ch" immer noch zu den wichtigsten "Tools", weil es Empathie vermittelt. Es erm?glicht eine pers?nliche, direkte Kommunikation und f?rdert das Vertrauen. Digitale Tools wie "Slack" und "Microsoft Teams" bieten zwar schnelle, informelle Wege, um sofortiges Feedback zu geben, aber um das pers?nliche Gespr?ch kommt man nicht herum. Warum nicht bei einem "Walk&Talk", um der ?den Büroatmosph?re zu entkommen. Und wenn es für einmal auch reicht, ein quantitatives Feedback zu geben, hilft die klassische Skala von 1 - 10.

Raising one's awareness by capturing possibility for behavioural change or improvement in the moment is a great way to provide real-time feedback. Supporting a client by teaching those they spend their time with to do the same makes progress consistent beyond the coaching session.

S.M.A.R.T.-Ziele sind zwar gut, aber nie vergessen, dass rollende und nicht zeitlich fixierte Ziele in weiter Ferne verwendet werden sollten. Wie viel sind die Ziele von Leistungssportler:innen noch wert, wenn sie sich verletzen? Meist nichts mehr! Deshalb sind agile Zielsetzungs- und Feedbacktechniken heute so wichtig!

Etwas, was in der heutigen Zeit leider viel zu oft zu kurz kommt! Das Individuum! Ich sehe das h?ufig in Change-Prozessen, wo ganze Departemente oder Abteilungen generalisiert werden. Gut, in Konzernen mag das vielleicht oft nicht anders gehen, aber gehe mehr auf Teams oder eben Individuen ein. Auch hierzu ein Bezug zum Leistungssport! High Performing Teams rufen ihre volle Leistung auch erst dann ab, wenn jedes Individuum seine pers?nlich beste Leistung abrufen kann, weil die Rahmenbedingungen und die Motivation stimmen.

Tailoring the coaching experience to suit individuals' needs and personalities maximises the value of 1:1 coaching. This creates the possibility to accelerate one's (leadership) abilities and establish viable ways forward for themselves and their teams.

Measure what matters. It is fundamental to gauge progress during the coaching process in accordance to agreed metrics, established at the beginning of the engagement. Regularly revisiting these metrics either monthly or quarterly will ensure both parties are meeting benchmarks and milestones and / or identify areas to develop.

This is a powerful tool that provides a more holistic and whole perspective of a client's behaviour. By presenting the findings, the client is able to gain insight into how the world experiences them compared to their own personal idea of who and how they are. This difference is where change can be made and progress made.
