For complex geotechnical analysis I would recommend a FEM software like RS2 or Plaxis. For slope stability and/or groundwater flow analysis, Slide or GeoStudio. In the other hand, GEO5 Software is powerful for foundation and retaining wall design (I personally use the Sheeting Check modulus quite a lot for retaining wall design).
