One thing I have found helpful in successful project execution is to understand project environment, understand project scope and understand perspectives of the different stakeholders. Besides these important factors understanding budget limitations and the risk associated with change others are an important differentiators.

There are many solutions out there and most often the customer is unaware of the different solutions and options. To implement a successful marine engineering solution there is the need to sell the solution to the customer and stakeholders at the early stage of the project. Where the customer and stakeholders are familiar with a certain solution, it is quite often to find resistance to change especially if the new solution has a higher level of technology. However, the key is to inform and break the technical complications to simple components for the customer and ordinary stakeholders to comprehend. I think this is the key to success.

Team's information and knowledge sharing skills along with data analytics to find out the correct methodology and appropriate tools and technique for the process need to be tailored.

I am working as area sales manager, so my perspective is the external view. If the customer has identified a solution for his system we are discussing and supporting him to get the right tools. If I have identified a specific tool in the customer system which could be optimised by our software or hardware solution I am presenting this to the customer by a cost-benefit evalution. If the idea is accepted we are looking together for the optimal solution under the given circumstances - budget, time frame.

One thing I found quite helpful is the awareness that the best engineering solutions are not necessarily the best everywhere. The best solution is unique to the project environment and a lot of factors come into play. Key among these factors are the aptitude of the project and operational teams in terms of how they deal with everyday problems. Budget and stakeholders perspectives are also key factors that determine the success criteria.

Proper documentation of analysed and approved logical data ,monitor and control while execution and risk management ensures good alignment with achieving.objectives

Performing standard test ,audits, QC control and quality assurance with high level product information check are always helpful to achieve the better objectives.

There's always scope for improvement after final test of deliverables based on solutions review and feedbacks.Trouble shooting data base to be created as retrospective.
