The most important thing to keep in mind : you need to know your product ! We can say everything we want, but the fact is if we know correctly and properly our product, we can easily talk about the quality and the advantage of this product, that means that it gives us the capability to know perfectly the service of product we sell.

La comunicación constituye una parte muy importante para el logro de ventas de tecnología, resulta que no solo en esta industria si no en cualquiera, es necesario adaptar tu lenguaje para transmitir el mensaje correctamente a distintos tipos de personas, habrá quienes requieran el conocimiento técnico (Que es) y otras práctico (Que hace), en el primer punto abordamos lo importante que es conocer al 100% las características y requerimientos de lo que se está comercializando ya que esto te ayudara a ser efectivo en el momento de presentar, es importante que previo a la presentación hayas perfilado bien a la persona a quien ira dirigida la presentación para saber que postura y lenguaje utilizar.

In my experience, In IT sales, communication should be clear and we need to explain the technology and its uses more easily so the prospect can understand with ease and make a decision. Tell the prospect about the advantages and disadvantages of the technology to the prospect is a must.

Tener habilidades de comunicación efectivas en ventas de TI es como ser un músico que domina cada nota en una sinfonía de entendimiento. Dominar habilidades de comunicación fue crucial. Escuchaba activamente, formulaba preguntas precisas y presentaba soluciones con claridad para diferentes tipos de audiencias. Adaptar mi estilo de comunicación según el cliente y contexto fue clave. Algo que me ha funcionado bastante es ser congruente con mis valores, a muchas empresas les gusta vender por vender sin preocuparse por la calidad, ni por integrar mejoras, en mi caso me gusta vender cosas que realmente funcionen como digo, esto genera relaciones totalmente sólidas, basadas en confianza, solidaridad y empatía

A mi me ha resultado útil el tener una transparencia con mis clientes, lidereando principalmente las ideas, soluciones y propuestas para llegar a cumplir con los objetivos de cada uno, tomando en cuenta los tiempos de entrega, vigilando la calidad del servicio y cuidando a nuestra gente para que cada día que pase sean mucho mejor que ayer. Siempre escuchando a mi cliente, siendo muy flexibles y sobre todo buscando entregar la calidad que merecen. Sin duda es un gran reto el generar y mantener la relación con mis clientes que día con día me gusta hacer.

In my opinion, we need to normalize disagreements once building relationships. All relationships have disagreements and that’s ok. What matters?is?how you talk?and listen?to one another. Listen?to understand, rather than listening to?respond. Don’t be afraid to express your emotions or vulnerabilities with people you trust.

This problem solving approach not only resolved the client's worries but also played a pivotal role in securing a long-term partnership.

So here are 7 simple steps to take in resolving a problem: 1- Identify the problem, name it and highlight it's aspects. 2- Identify effected objects with the problem and the way each are interacting. 3-think of multiple solutions and label each, even if they are not the best solutions. 4- eliminate solutions based on compatibility, achievability, resources used and it's cost, and the pros and cons of using that solution. 5-merge solutions that might work together to eliminate the worst outcomes that is required to be avoided. 6- test solutions, and compare each solution effects with theoretical effect. 7- Compare results. And always focus on the main problem, best software’s start with a buggy code.

Critical thinking involves analysis, or breaking something (a concept, an argument, a piece of information) down into its parts in order to understand and evaluate it, as a prelude to accepting or rejecting it.? You’re expected to think critically when you’re asked to analyze an article for a college assignment, for example, and offer your own opinion on its validity.? You also think critically when you analyze real-life situations such as moving your residence, changing jobs, or buying a car.

Software is something that keeps changing. Every new release comes with new functionalities. Besides the product that you are selling, the whole ecosystem around it is also constantly changing. It is key to be always up to date with the latest developments in order to properly influence the buyer. After all, “IT sales” is solution sales and you can only give the right solution if you know what you can offer and stay up to date with the latest developments in the market. One of my favorite ways to keep myself up to date is learning from the clients and prospects by asking open questions and listening to their experiences.

Emotional Intelligence: Great salespeople are also very effective at understanding their customer’s needs.The reason they’re so great is because of something that’s widely known as emotional intelligence.They can put themselves in their customer’s shoes to understand what’s important to them. What are the needs versus the wants? What are the most significant pain points and challenges the customer is facing? What are the risks involved with going forward or not in the future with the deal from your buyer’s perspective? These are all questions that a great sales professional should easily be able to answer when evaluating a deal.
