You can use these platforms to learn from others, ask questions, offer advice, share your work, and discover new opportunities. However, joining is not enough. You also need to be active, respectful, and helpful. Engage with the content, comment on posts, start conversations, and provide feedback. Don't spam, self-promote, or criticize without constructive suggestions.

2 Attend local and virtual events

Another way to expand your BI network is to attend local and virtual events that are relevant to your field. These can include meetups, workshops, conferences, hackathons, and more. You can use these events to learn new skills, get inspired, and meet like-minded people. However, attending is not enough. You also need to be prepared, proactive, and follow up.
