Clear communication confirms improvement areas, priorities, and expectations. Identifying advantages over competitors is crucial. Define information architecture clearly. In UX-UED, everyone must grasp their roles. We aim to demonstrate how we create a sought-after project through research and testing, surpassing market expectations, and closely tracking set goals and key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure success.

My approach to UX design hinges on storytelling. Recognizing humans' innate attraction to stories, I leverage this in designing experiences. Each UX element, from visuals and interactions to layouts, serves as a narrative medium. This methodology allows me to craft immersive engagements by judiciously employing interactive components based on the narrative needed. The design strategy is inherently flexible, tailored to the specific user journey. Thus, a calculator's design will vastly differ from an AR experience, reflecting the unique story each aims to tell. This approach ensures a seamless, impactful user experience, emphasizing adaptability and user-centric storytelling.

As a design strategist, Solving this identified problem is a comprehensive understanding of the needs of users. You first define the problem through user research, interviews and surveys. Build user persona template representing various types of audience and map out the journey to see how people interact. Perform a competitive analysis to determine areas for improvement or innovation. Set goals for users and perform usability testing to improve user experience. Design an appropriate information architecture and create wireframes, prototypes to enhance visioning and feedback. Take care of your visual design, making sure it fits the brand. Through this iterative process, the user experience is designed to be human-centered.

Like in the movie “Moneyball”, be like Brad Pitt and continually ask “what’s the problem?” and identify the root issue. It can be very easy to just offer up solutions for the sake of them or state “What if…” scenarios, but always keep the real problem in front. Beyond that, get agreement from stakeholders about the problem, investigate known use problems/complaints if it’s been in the field to smartly iterate, and keep an eye on competitors. A great place to find ideas is via fringe users. Once you have identified the problem, look for hack ways users have developed to workaround the issue. More often than not, you’ll fond inspiration to craft your solution. Lean on small, quick experiments to validate your assumption before fully investing in the idea.

I find it helpful to craft one solid How might we... (HMW) challenges to ideate in a more focused way. Keep the statement broad enough to encourage divergent thinking yet specific enough to provide direction. Finally, ensure the HMW statement aligns with the overall goals and vision of the product, setting the stage for productive brainstorming sessions that generate actionable ideas aimed at addressing the user's needs effectively. Also, you might not always get it right on the first try, so try rephrasing your HMW before going off to solutions.

Here's a suggested approach - 1. Define what is "seamless" from lenses of - business viability, technical feasibility and user experience. 2. Document design principles and trade-offs to achieve the above. 3. Take collective buy-ins to align to the principles and trade-offs. 4. Create a system map to automate execution and decision making upon the above mutual agreement. "Seamless" also can mean "friction-less". And to remove friction in a product lifecycle, you need to thoroughly understand business viability, technical feasibility and user experience.

Consider establishing a shared long-term vision across teams and other disciplines that focus on addressing not only user needs but also business needs. Maintaining a common narrative helps you and the team rally behind a shared worldview. It's important to note that a vision consists of assumptions and big-bets. Therefore, we must carefully derisk and make decisions on how to validate them and learn as we progress. Additionally, a vision may not necessarily need to be written in stone, so anticipate change and be prepared to adjust and pivot the narrative when necessary.
