In my experience, metrics plays a vital role in analysing social media performance. For instance, Likes, comments, shares, retweets - measure how well your content aligns with your audience. Reach & Impressions tells you how many unique users saw your content and how many times your content was displayed. Clicks & Website Traffic tracks how many users click on your links and visit your website from social media. Follower Count helps Monitor the increase in your follower number over time.

Track Key Metrics - Monitor metrics such as engagement rates, follower growth, reach, impressions, and click-through rates. Use Analytics Tools - Utilize tools like Google Analytics, Hootsuite, Sprout Social, and native platform analytics (e.g., Facebook Insights, Twitter Analytics). Conduct A/B Testing - Experiment with different types of content, posting times, and formats to see what performs best.

It is important to check who your target audience is and what it is exactly expecting from your brand or product. Having the relevant audience insights is useful to acknowledge the age-group, gender, interests of the audience, which in turn further helps improve the content creation accordingly.
