This is where you track and notate changes updates and additions to all departments outside of production meetings so that everyone is aware of issues, needs, and things to address going forward. It also allows for tracking of what was rehearsed, who was in attendance and if something needs additional time at a future rehearsal.

The stage manager should be organized and prepared for any situation that may arise on stage. They should have a checklist of tasks and responsibilities for each rehearsal and performance, and follow them diligently. It's also vital that one of the production team or performers checks up on the Stage Manager. An overworked, overly caffeinated, and tired stage manager is not as effective!
