Mentorship is a two-way street. You can also benefit from your mentee's knowledge, skills, and perspective. You should be open to learning from your mentee, as well as from other mentors and resources. 6 Evaluate and end the relationship

At the end of the mentorship period, you and your mentee should evaluate the outcomes and impact of your relationship. You should review the goals and objectives you set at the beginning, and assess how well you achieved them. You should also discuss what you learned, what you enjoyed, and what you would do differently. You should also give each other feedback, appreciation, and recognition. You should also decide how you will end the relationship, and whether you will maintain contact or not.
