This quote is often attributed to Henry Ford. "If I had asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses.” He never said this. In one way the notion that people don't necessarily know what they want rings true. From another perspective, it might seem blatantly arrogant. In terms of inclusion/accessibility a visually challenged person may say they want a screen reader with a normal human voice instead of the robotic, synthetic voice that is the norm. What they may NOT know is that it is possible to integrate human audio into a website. Since it is included in the design, the requirements expected of them to buy, install and learn a special screen reader software are eliminated. Thus, feedback and vision are ideal.
