Does it needs to be updated dynamically, once a day, once a week, etc. Chose your data sources accordingly because every time you make an API request, it costs your IT especially when grabbing data from external tools. Another thing to keep in mind is the more APIs you connect with, the more burden of them breaking lands on your IT team. So be considerate, as the IT team is managing multiple projects and they will definitely appreciate this consideration.

However, standard tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio are generally the most effective. In most scenarios, the source of the data is often the company's SAP or CRM system, where data can be exported in real time using an API. I have used tools like Klipfolio - to display data and it was worked great. Its simple and effective.
