Make sure you do this before you check your email. Checking your email first thing in the morning (like most people do), before you’ve planned out your day is the ultimate productivity killer. One allegedly “urgent” or unexpected email from a client or prospect can derail your entire day’s priorities. Set your schedule first, then check your email.
In my experience, I've found that you need to prioritize the tasks that are most important. You may be categorizing them based on which ones generate revenue or which ones are closest to the due date. Once I have this list I pick 3 things that absolutely need to get done. I call these tasks Priority 1 (P1). I then only focus on just those three things for the day, I find that being realistic with myself and acknowledging that I'm an optimist who thinks I can do 30 things per day... I am a Creator so.... I'm not always realistic. I've noticed if I just focus on knocking out the three most important things each day, I'm far more productive than trying to do everything.

Don’t check your email outside of business hours! If you get into the habit of replying to work emails on nights and weekends, your clients can get used to it and start to expect it from you. But if you hold the line, stay consistent, and tell them, “Here are my business hours: I don’t check my work email after quitting time,” they will respect that boundary.
One of the biggest mistakes creators make is overestimating how much they can do in a given time frame. This can result in missed deadlines, poor quality, or dissatisfaction. To avoid this, you need to be realistic about your capabilities, resources, and constraints. Estimate how long each task will take, and add some buffer time for unexpected delays or revisions. Consistency means sticking to your routine, delivering on your promises, and maintaining your quality and standards. Consistency helps you build trust, credibility, and reputation in the creator economy, as well as grow your skills, audience, and income. To be consistent, you need to find a rhythm that works for you, and that matches your personality, style, and goals. And you need to celebrate your achievements, learn from your failures, and keep improving.
Block off a certain amount of time every week on the same day of the week for “admin time.“ Add a chunk of hours to your calendar, such as 12:00 - 3:00 every Friday, or something similar, where you are completely unreachable. This does wonders for productivity. Add it to your calendar and make sure that you turn off your phone and don’t check your email so you can focus on the tasks that you say “I’ll get to that later“ about. Odds are, you won’t get to that unless you set aside the time consistently every single week to make it happen.
