One of the channel which often gets ignored is 'Customer Care'. There should be a team which frequently monitors customer feedback and then bucket them across key pain points eg - system error (system/service unavailable), pricing, poor support, Unable to understand the UI etc. Product Managers must make it a habit to go through the customer verbatim and pick up areas which are critical in their respective product backlog. Its critical to include the features which are being highlighted, implicitly. Frequently the features highlighted by the sales or business teams are prioritised, however many times the end users are struggling with features & they get missed out.
