Don’t make assumptions. I have come across so-called Baby Boomers who are very tech savvy. Often people will make sweeping judgements about how certain age groups would receive and respond to communication. Knowing your people will help. You can’t get to everyone but understanding your culture and sub cultures will help comms professionals to be self aware enough to avoid the usual ageism traps e.g. Gen Z are digital natives. Everyone else is largely clueless.
