They can collect data on the status, performance, and energy consumption of these systems and devices and send it to a central server or cloud platform for analysis. Internet of Things (IoT) devices connected to the internet can communicate with each other and other systems. These devices include smart meters, sensors, actuators, and wearables that can collect data on temperature, humidity, occupancy, vibration, noise, and motion. Mobile applications installed on smartphones or tablets can be used to conduct surveys, report issues, request services, provide feedback, access information - all while leveraging the built-in features of the device like GPS, camera, microphone or accelerometer to collect data on the location, condition and usage of the facility and its assets.
