In my experience client companies will often be so concerned with "Co-employment" that they create to much of a feeling of separation. There are ways to include the "temporary workers" without having them feel excluded. A few don'ts. Try not to create separate badge colors. This can create us vs. them culture, unintentionally. Find other ways to distinguish that are less noticeable. Let your partner vendors know when you are doing special days like lunches or give aways, if you company policy doesn't permit including temporary workers, your partner vendor can mirror the program. By doing more to make your temporary workforce feel included and welcome, you are showing them they are a part of the team and appreciated for their efforts.
