Blend the compressed signal with the dry one, and if needed reduce the dry signal to get the mix you want. You can use a VCA to set the level of the blended audio. An easier way manage mixing the audio with a single fader is using a compressor that has a built-in 'MIX' or 'WET/DRY' control. Another one is setting the send as 'Post-fader'. This way, you can still control the overall level of the audio signal with the main audio channel fader.

Es wird immer so wahnsinnig viel über Kompression geredet, analog, digital oder. was auch immer, w?hrend für mich das effektivste Tool zur Ver?nderung der Dynamik immer noch ein Transienten Shaper ist. Für Anf?nger einfacher zu bedienen und auch viel offensichtlicher in dem was es tut.
