Sí, emplear una leva distinta a la de fábrica afecta al ruido de las válvulas, pero como dice la IA, eso es solamente si decides poner a punto el motor fuera de las especificaciones del fabricante. Es de sentido común no realizar las modificaciones a ciegas para evitar ruidos o averías.

En el caso del aceite, mi mayor preocupación es que esté demasiado bajo. Cuando el aceite está bajo pasan dos cosas: 1- Se van a da?ar las levas y los taqués 2- Puede ser que el origen se deba a una fuga interna y haya que levantar culata También es vital usar siempre el aceite recomendado por el fabricante. Nada de 10w40 para todo.

En cuanto a lo correcto tras el montaje, suele ser hacerle un rodaje para que la pieza nueva se haga al motor, que ya tendrá sus deformaciones propias.

Can you install a cam in a high-mileage engine? Yes. But as with any piece of machinery with worn-in moving parts.....when you add in a fresh, unworn part with a unworn mating surface, you do take a bit of a gamble. In this case, we're talking unworn lobes mating up to worn cam bearings......
