When testing with prototypes or test models I always let the users who are going to test it interact first instinctively, observing their approaches to the product in terms of what they feel it communicates to them. Then, after an initial interaction, functionalities, proportions, ergonomics, user interface, and other variables are promptly evaluated. In the end, always obtain as much information as possible from these users.

Design with your target demographic in collaboration from the beginning, including hiring your team to include your testing users and listening to their needs and expectations concerns and feedback and suggestions and writing it down as project management procedure. User reviews aren’t criticism, rather an opportunity to yield invaluable information that will make your product design better and more effective and easier to implement in the long term marketing strategy. Don’t assume you know your audience until you’ve invested in the process. User testing during the design process is important and often overlooked.
