Repair costs can skyrocket when you're paying for flights and accomodation, on top of service/parts charges. A poorly trained support team is frustrating when you've got to get up and running after any kind of malfunction.

After sales service is probably an overlooked part of purchasing a machine. It’s not any good to your business if the machine you have bought sits idle on the floor because it waiting for a service tech to show up.

It is important to ask the supplier who will be supporting the machine. This would include service and warranty topics along with any applications support that would be required over the life of the machine. It doesn't matter if you have the best machine in the world - if that machine is down for any reason and not making parts, it is just a large paperweight.
