This is important especially when you are doing an offsite backup because even you are using the best backup software. If their current network setup is slow, they still might get issues or slow backup completion. 2. How big is their overall data. This is important as well because from here, you can verify how much capacity they need for their storage. 3. Do they have application to backed up? Another important thing because not all backup solutions are capable of addressing application backup such as Application Aware Processing.

To implement a backup solution, here are three important steps to follow: 1. Identify the data and systems that are critical for business operations. Determine which systems can tolerate the least downtime and data loss and which systems can be recovered later. 2.
