I think this should be the first step. Your company will likely have their own professional social media accounts. Make sure when posting and interacting with the public that you are logged onto the professional account. An easy way to do this is to not log onto your personal account while on company devices. Do not post from your personal device as that is an easy way to mix up the accounts and cause privacy breach.

Important so that post from 10 or n years ago doesn't appear in your now professional profile, and what seemed funny then could be taken in the wrong way now. That includes accounts you may have that were not deleted, and even possible incorrect posts about that job you did not thought you would have or company you dis not know you would be part of.
