This is by far the most important first step towards any semblance of an effective marketing strategy. Understand your audience! Once you understand your audience, you can start to have a real relationship with them, beyond being purely transactional.

Who are your audience? For example consider yourself as a Football academy in India. We can target corporates, gated communities, schools, super markets where family crowd go in huge numbers, community clubs and many other places.

Marketing is all about right content at right time, without right content your campaigns are wasted. You can explore lot of different content ideas when it comes to running a football academy, you can leverage sports technology to conduct assessments for each child and showcase their performance on social media, recording short videos & reels of the training sessions, promoting on field humour & behind the scenes videos, getting kids to the speak about their experience with the academy, asking them their favourite coaches and why, taking video feedback’s from parents and posting it on social media. Make sure all this content is marketed to your target audience which will eventually help in generating more leads.

It is one thing to create content and another to create content that engages your audience. Content needs to be relatable and real. So stories, case studies and images about real people mixed in with messages that you want to get across. A content plan will help you to get a balance of stories.
