I agree with this. Don’t expect to pay for everything just from ticket sales. Incremental revenues from your percentage from food and beverage sales plus your percentage from artists merch sales and etc are all important parts to the revenue

Having said that, optimisation can be done in gazillion ways A festival plan speaks volumes on paper as far as its revenue potential is concerned. We have had instances where the artist performed in a state where alcohol was prohibited but 20% of the billing came through revenue shared food sales.
