If you are choosing your software/app, choose what you already know and comfortable with it. You may choose a new one to learn if you have spare time, but if it is for production, you may want to choose the one you know. Although these are tools for production, do not let the software run your plan, meaning you use the software not the other way around, a lot of animators/artists I know become very stressed when they put their plans on the software, when they depend much on the software. Remember, to use these as tools only to help you in executing your plan. There are a lot out there that will make your life easier if you just use them and know your way around. Also choose what you will need for everyday use.
