The best way to test data migration issues is to make strategies and right testing tools with adequate resources. Write the test scripts to simulate the issue before the actual data migration (PROD Environment) in the Sandbox environment and check each and every step and simulate the Issue and write down any errors triggered. If any issues encounter, connect with respective stakeholders and fix it and then do actual migration issues.

Para probar los problemas de migración de datos efectivamente, se sugiere seguir algunas prácticas clave. Inicialmente es importante realizar exhaustivas pruebas de los datos previo ala ejecución de la migración para identificar posibles errores o inconsistencias. Adicionalmente, se sugiere realizar pruebas de integridad de los datos una vez finalizada la migración para confirmar que la transferencia de la información se realizo correctamente. Es recomendable disponibilizar un plan de contingencia si se identifican problemas durante el proceso de migración

Testing is one the finest tools. Migration is what!!! Migration is when the real data is collaborative with new data for further information of the quality of the process. Post migration testing is very useful because we can easily compare the real data with altered data. Migration data from one place to another is a checking date atmosphere from one place to another. Eg. We have one glass of juice and we have to transfer already used milk glass which is not washed that causes problems with taste, Citrus odor, quality of juice, quality of color many prospects. So post migration is very important.

Data Migration testing strategy should be defined in such a way that identify all the critical data objects to validate Define the strategy to collect the source data Pre and post environments should be in sync Identify the data leakages/data drop at the earliest Perform the piloting before entire migration to know the unknowns Include negative scenario's like unexpected data to ensure the system handles errors gracefully Ensure the performance of the data migration is optimal
