1) Find out the baseline understanding of the topic from the class, identify those who are ahead and behind. Adjust the pace according to the majority, prepare stretched activities for the fast learners, and added facilitation for those behind. 2) Make learning fun to draw the students in. Previously, I had a Gather Town room where students can build their own workspace, take a screenshot, and share with the class. More than half of the students participated in this optional activity. 3) Allow time for experimentation and failure. When starting to use a new platform/system, take >1 hour to go thorugh each function and identify useful features. Note down the confusing parts, ask questions, and check the functions, e.g. quiz submission.
