And there are two ways to think about it: – strictly from an operational perspective, what behaviors and values do you want to emphasize and reinforce throughout your organization? and – just as importantly, from a people perspective, how do you want to treat employees? Can you boost morale, improve recruiting and retention, and make people feel better about themselves and their careers? Reward and recognition programs matter.
