I think the feedback needs to be captured whilst the target audience is still engaged, using tools that promote open discussion. Too often I see the feedback forms slapped on to the desk just after the presenter has finished giving the room all the answers to the all important quiz, and then handing out the most important tool to be completed, at the exact moment that the audience has switched off.

By having the right tools you’ll be able to provide suggestions or solutions for improvement and maintain a positive tone of voice also, watching body behaviour /language. It’s a two-way communication process, and both parties should be open to a productive dialogue.

When asking questions it’s important that you build a scene of trust so he/she is relaxed and then you reference yourself as “I” noticed that you may need more safety equipment/s for assisting in your role. Asking he/she if they would like further training on safety equipment training or PPE . I find by having a clear and open dialogue with direct questions Will go along way in a positive culture and safety workplace.
