The IaC implementation should also have test cases to validate the environment. 2. Strictly version your code including IaC Templates. 3. Create/Integrate the automation in the CI/CD Pipelines. 5. It is important to automate only the repeated tasks. Just for the sake of automation, never spend time in automating one-time tasks. 6. Ensure that the automation is scalable and reusable.

1. Allow your team to fail and embrace failures. 2. Allow your team to try different approaches to solve a problem. 3. Trust the team. 4. Provide necessary tools/access/utilities for the team to positively do PoCs with quick turnaround time. 5. Respect and listen to the ideas shared by the team. 6. Conduct brainstorming sessions to pull in thoughts/perspectives of each person. 7. Create an environment that allows people to grow. 8. Never finger point individuals for failures.
