Relevant criteria, such as country, state, city, or zip code are for sure the most basic ones to start with. However I would recommend to include some kind of consumer data as early as possible (consumer pattern) as well as also to add some key competitor analysis. Both highly influence key operations.

The purpose of using this valuable smart analytics data tools or CRM software is to segment the data to specific needs in order to facilitate the use of the discovery and get out of it with what we are looking for. No es correcto asumir uniformidad (si pasa en X lugar también debe pasar en Y lugar) pues cada región tiene dinámicas distintas. (Muy común que empresas europeas y asiáticas hagan esto con la región LATAM). Los incrementos o decrementos en otras regiones no garantizan resultados idénticos. En mi opinión: la clave está en estudiar y adaptarse a las singularidades de cada mercado, independientemente del producto ofrecido.
