Manage each one according their ability. Don't give a major task to the slow employee. You might be the best project manager but the resources can surprise you. Get information on your team, ask colleagues, be aware of those who complains and cheer those who perform quickly. Get to know your team - test the team with measurable activities by time and quality, by this grade each of them. Don't think the cheap employee is great and the expansive is bad.
