Teaching style must be flexible and adaptable to suit the needs and abilities of different groups of students. What works for one level or group may not work for another. Teachers should be creative willing to adjust their methods in order to meet the specific needs of their students.

Pupils and students are all specifics and need to adjust subject and way to teach it to your target listeners. There is not one way to be an effective teacher, nore one to be a creative one, but so much ! Be careful to your public and adjust your courses and methods, processes, ways of communication and work in your classes, in order to be specific and usefull for all kind of learners. By being always aware about that, you’ll be able to become a very successful because efficient teacher, and a good Mentor for your Mentees.

I agree that experimenting, especially at first, is one way to develop your own teaching style. Reading evidence based practices in teaching and mentoring is crucial and always remember to be open to other ideas that may be different from your own. If we are not open, then there is no point in trying to develop our own style for we will just do whatever we think is right regardless of outcomes.

Je suis convaincue que pour bien apprendre : rien ne vaut l'action ! C'est pourquoi j’agrémente mes cours d’expériences concrètes, comme des simulations ou des études de cas. Ces méthodes plongent les apprenants dans le concret, ce qui aide non seulement à ancrer les savoirs mais surtout à les appliquer. Inspirée par Jean Piaget, je crois fermement que l'apprentissage se nourrit de l'action. Observer et échanger avec d'autres professionnels me semblent essentiels. Cela offre des perspectives diverses et permet d'adapter et d'enrichir son propre style. Developing a successful teaching style I believe involves a process of self reflection, adaptability, continuous development and improvement. You need to begin by understanding your own strengths and what you can bring to the party. Also Embrace different teaching methods. Actively seek feedback from students and peers to improve and develop your style and techniques. Promote a positive environment and adopt engagement. In essence, a successful teaching style is a balance of flexibility and a commitment whilst also involving coaching and mentoring to help all with progression and development.
