La primera cosa que se debe hacer para analizar un problema es ordenar la información, basta por empezar con una simple tabla en Excel, bien estructurada y segmentada, para luego hacer unos gráficos simples que puedan dar una primera idea del negocio. Con este simple paso ya podemos encontrar algunos "insights" y también es el punto de partida y punto final para corroborar ciertas medidas y entenderlas a profundidad. Definitivamente que luego del Excel vienen los otros como Power BI y Tableau que son los más conocidos, pero siempre antes de hay que medir todo en hojas de cálculo, básico.

Toda la tecnología está sujeta al razonamiento humano, y muchas veces es lo que marca una mejor decisión de otra. Finalmente todas las herramienta de apoyo son eso, apoyo, pero la decisión final está en tomar el conocimiento que brinda la tecnología y en base a ello poder discernir de lo que sería mejor, siempre aplicando la ética de por medio, y sobre todo no creando ningún sesgo. La experiencia ayuda mucho en este punto, por eso hay que al final combinar, data, modelos de negocio, intuición y una buena dosis de experiencia.
