What are the most effective carbon reduction strategies for the hospitality industry?

In my experience considerable reductions in carbon emissions can be achieved in a commercially viable way under the specific tariff situation in China. Greatest potential is HVAC and hot water. Super high risers are also plagued by the draft effect sucking out the air in winter. By conducting thermal imaging assessment and a reconfiguration of the HVAC and hot water systems we have achieved cost savings of up to 77% and 40 ton of carbon emissions a month on hot water alone. But in my experience the hospitality industry in China is still slow to adopt carbon emission savings even with a good return. How about in other countries?

Facility upgrades for large hotels to reduce scope 1 and 2 emissions include heat pumps, chillers with low GWP refrigerants, and renewable energy like solar or fuel cells. Creo que una de las formas más eficientes de ahorrar energía y por lo tanto poder bajar la huella de carbono es utilizando paneles solares, para empezar hacer bien un estudio de carga eléctrica del complejo luego determinar la aplicación de paneles solares para los equipos más demandantes y de esta forma bajar el consumo en gran medida, luego ir por posibles postes de iluminación autosustentables con paneles solares individuales en cada poste.. creo que podría ser una buena opción para empezar a bajar el consumo, ser autosustentables y dejar la dependencia de la energía eléctrica pública, y bajar la huella de carbono.

Uan de las opciones que podría dar es hacer una peque?a plan RAS (Reinsercion de aguas servidas).. habría que modificar el sistema de aguas residuales y de esta manera poder reutilizar el agua almenas de las duchas y lavamanos llevar estas aguas por un proceso de microfiltrado a matices de gravas de distinto espesor y filtros de arenas, luego pasarla por filtros potasio y filtros carbon activado y poder utilizar el agua quizás para lavar vajillas, platos, wc, regadíos de plantas entre otros, de esta manera bajamos el consumo de agua un 33% a 45% aproximadamente, y podríamos ser más eficientes en el uso de agua.
