A great starting point for the implementation of BIM, where all these items contribute to creating a fantastic BIM strategy or overview…. But how is this relayed on the ground? I believe it’s the adoption and application of this strategy that needs to be considered to ensure that different team members have the ability to interpret, understand and execute this strategy. Only once each team member is aligned and onboard, can we really start reaping the benefit of BIM.

It's crucial not to simply follow buzzwords and trends without understanding the tangible benefits or how this technology can truly enhance our processes. Once we have a solid grasp of our goals, it becomes a smoother journey for the entire supply chain to achieve peak performance.

I believe one very important key was missed: Started with the end in mind! It's important because it is a Pilar of BIM and it sets the aim when developing a project as BIM .

BIM Execution Plan from my point of view is the key of success for any project, Whoever the stakeholder responsible for BEP also the key factor, you can imagine Owner, Consultant and Different contractors so if every contractor in the site has it won BEP that's mean double work for the consultant and clients to differentiate between them in every step but from the beginning if both works under supervision of the owner and Consultant within Applicable roles and responsibilities this is the real meaning of success of BIM Management Environment and BIM Project.

In addition to defining data formats and software tools, we follow industry standards. The strategy outlining the procedures for model building, clash detection, and data validation. In order to achieve efficient and easy BIM implementation, it also emphasizes security, training, risk management, and change control procedures.

A good BIM implementation strategy form my experience was starting with small pilot projects to gain practical experience and identify areas for improvement within the internal team and assess the stakeholders capabilities to adopt it. this is to emphasis on the collaborative workflows by promoting open communication and knowledge sharing. Additionally, it is important to have integration of BIM with project management processes, to harness BIM's capabilities enhancing decision-making and project control. By meticulously implementing these strategies, organisations can empower their employees to reap the substantial benefits of BIM training and implementation.

Train people on of the most important factors in organizations, as BIM Manager/Champion you should schedule training sessions monthly based to improve the awareness of your team and discuss the latest trend with them to keep everyone in the organization motivated to the latest technology this is also one of the ways that let you achieve the loyalty with your colleges.

BIM Strategy Implemented for more than two years this is in my opinion to keep yourself in the safe side, cause daily there are new technologies, so this is why i recommend the strategic Road Map should build for 2 years, based on the AS-IS situation, and take in consideration that you can't do this without BIM Manager or BIM Leader

We must differentiate between the BIM Team and Technical / Engineering Team, because in some companies I've seen before consider all people that use the BIM Softwares with BIM Teams. Having a separated BIM Team including BIM Manager, Specialists and coordinators will affect your time, efficiency and cost. The reason concludes in that this team has the time to use capabilities of it's manpower to supports other Engineering teams and develop their workflows permanently and force on teams to keep and follow Standards beside keeping the quality of their production )Drawings and models).
