While opting for new technologies, the cost and ROI are key factors that we evaluate. There are financial incentives available in various jurisdictions. In Australian context, depending on the states which you live, the rebates vary and shall be explored further. STC is the Federal Govt rebate that is applicable for all and there are NSW ESS, Solar VIC and various schemes across states. Most of the scheme discounts are applied by the seller while they sell it at their end, so the customer does not need to run around for anything. However it is important that they should know about the market price, available rebates for that product, so they are paying the right price.
