Some of the Challenges could be 1. Not able to get time off from Work related things 2. Distractions due to Social media, News and irrelevant conversations that put us in emotional imbalance state that we spend our time thinking about imaginary stuff. 3. Not delegating things with right guidance ( Pass on Job) 4. Not Creating good relations in work environment with truthfulness. 5. Not having a complete planning steps written in a document and assuming things in mind.

Simply setting SMART goals isn’t enough. You also need a reliable way to monitor these goals through measurable indicators. A practical approach involves using a work management tool that allows customized dashboards for each team member. A team member's dashboard for example should include: - Their goals for the quarter - Their KPIs - Their projects and task progress - Their work for the week - Their next 5 highest priority items If setup correctly, a good work management system brings clarity and focus to the team.

It is also very helpful to have team members identify the ways in which they plan to improve their own productivity. Ask them and keep asking them until they exhaust all the methods they can identify. This gets them to reflect on what they are missing and learn how they can personally leverage their strengths or be innovative in proposing solutions. When we hear ourselves talk, we tend to follow up better with the goals we have set, than when we are told what to do. We own the process. After this, definitely set up a schedule for follow up, feedback, motivation and support.

Over the years I've been charged with the responsibility to do certain things, to deliver certain results - but have then been refused the authority to do so. It sounds obvious (and the offenders are usually narcissists or extremely old-school operators) but you can't give someone responsibility without authority! If you want to make someone responsible for certain results - you HAVE TO enable them with enough authority to do it. Micro-managing your team KILLS productivity.

Do not reward a production crew that have used good participles to improve a production process that requires a smaller crew to do the same amount of work by laying them off. Yes they may be redundant but reward them by giving them job security and better pay.
