What mistakes should you avoid when receiving client feedback on your art direction?

1) You should not take feedback personally, as it is not a reflection of your worth or talent, but rather a result of different perspectives, expectations, and preferences. Instead of reacting defensively or angrily, try to empathize with your client, and understand their goals, needs, and challenges. 2) Instead of following feedback blindly, try to filter and prioritize it, and identify the underlying problems and needs that it addresses. Test and validate your changes, and measure their impact and effectiveness. 3) Ignoring feedback can lead to misalignment, dissatisfaction, conflict, and damage to your reputation and relationship with your client.

Un modelo que desarrolle para elaborar feedbacks efectivos, hace no sufran rechazo. Para ello sugiero tener en cuenta 3 variables: 1- Perfil del colaborador: permitiría conocer su Matriz FODA y código de comunicación. Por lo tanto, efectividad. 2- Prejuicios: el líder debe controlar los prejuicios sobre sus colaboradores. Sino lo hace, no será objetivo ni neutral. 3- Debe considerar 2 contextos: interno recortes presupuestarios o externos, leyes (ley seca) que podrían alterar los ingresos de la empresa, sin que sea culpa del colaborador. Sino, se tiene en cuenta esto, se puede ser injusto. Si alguno de los 3 puntos se olvida, el feedback es rechazado. DEBE SER OBJETIVO, EFECTIVO Y EMOCIONALMENTE ADECUADO

Si algo echa a perder cualquier negocio creativo es la soberbia. No se puede pedir feedback y luego no escucharlo. Si el comentario que llega es negativo, conviene sentarse a dialogar cara a cara con el cliente. No por email, no por mensajes. Cara a cara. Porque así no da lugar a malinterpretaciones. Por otro lado, no concibo que llegados al final de un encargo profesional creativo el cliente diga "no me gusta" más que si entre la contratación y la entrega no ha habido más relación con él. Lo adecuado para asegurar que guste es: 1° Hacer una buena investigación de sus gustos, su identidad verbal y de marca, sus objetivos, sus aspiraciones 2°Mantener una relación fluida con el cliente durante el proceso que sirva de verificación.
