Big Data is bit to generic name maybe better way is from technology perspective. For example you can opt for default option offered by major cloud vendor like Amazon EMR which supports Spark, Hive, Presto and others. Similar native services can be found in other cloud like Azure, GCP, OCI. Very common is also use new technologies like Databricks which designed for Spark workloads and bring many other features like Unity Catalog, Delta Lake and others that may fit better your use cases. Databricks is very often deployed for analytic and ML / AI workloads. Same can be said about Snowflake which is another popular alternative to cloud vendor default data platforms.
